The research was done in frame of Net Cultural Heritage in Russia The working group aimed at determining minimum information categories for museum object information in Russian INTERNET and at its unified describing. The document under the name “Russian Internet: Minimum Information Categories for Museum Object (RIMICMO)” was worked out. The setting of information categories and its need to apply controlled vocabularies (thesauri and authority lists) were fixed after an examination of ten Info-systems (foreign and of our country):
