The Second Millennium requires the application of new information technologies for data gaining, data processing and data transmission especially in the sphere of education. To participate effectively in civic life you must have knowledge of mathematics, science, technology so that you can make well-reasoned judgements on the use of such information for the common good.
The development of a new Theory of Knowledge based on a comprehensive approach to Modern Natural Sciences (historical, philosophical, cultural, evolutionary, informational) will be an objective of this multimedia course. This theory being not a mere “mixture” of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Astronomy and Ecology will enable students to grasps the connections between scientific approaches and principles and their practical applications to the workplace and social life.
The structure and composition of Multimedia Course will induce students to pool previously amassed knowledge of the World and will enable them to become independent thinkers, responsible for what they believe, striving for clarity of expression, logical consistency, respect for all relevant evidence, and impartiality in interpreting all pertinent facts.
Multimedia Course “ Modern Natural Sciences” consists of 3 sections:
1.“Harmony in Nature. Man and Nature”.
2“Evolution of Consciousness”.
3..“From Chaos to Order”
Students will examine Modern World Model, its experimental research and theoretical
investigations. Multimedia course will enable students to grasp the connections between
scientific theories and to synthesize them.
The approach applied will stimulate the development of associative thinking that plays a
significant role in the formation of a creative character.
The Course aims to equip students with the skills, knowledge, understanding and
sensibilities which they will need to function effectively in a complex, interdependent
world.
30 Appendices which students may consult after the understanding of key concepts and
principles of science will provide a sophisticated analysis on the following problems:
Harmony; Rhythm, pace, cycle; Fractional structures; Biological processes; Synergetic
approach to the problem of awareness; Virtual reality; Psychological Techniques; Models
equivalent to the Great Explosion.
Thesaurus and Subject Index will provide you with the explanations you need.
Each section is supplied with quizzes and questions
The variety of tests will enable you to measure your IQ, to define your temperament, to
evaluate you brain abilities.
