This CD was created to the 100th anniversary of the State Russian Museum in St.-Petersburg - one of the largest museums in the world. Masterpieces of representational art, description of these works, the history of their creation and the biographies of the artists (along with music) are incorporated on the CD ROM. A fragment of music was chosen specially to each painting. It may be classical, religious, choral or avant-garde music (in total more than 200 musical fragments with a total duration of 4,5 hours). The CD-ROM contains about 150 paintings, 50 fragments, 250 pages of printed text, 7500 hypertext links and 1200 images.
